Joe Stephenson Field
Building Repairs

As some of you know we have been dealing with a water leak at the field’s clubhouse. We have had a plumber out and located the leak but the concession and washrooms will be closed until the repairs are done after the long weekend.
Updates will be posted on our Facebook page and our website.

Can you help?

We are needing some work done around the park (such as above) and would like to support our GH families’ businesses or places of work (maybe as in kind sponsorship). If you work for, own or have a company you can recommend we would love to hear from you. Please email vpoperations@gordonheadbaseball.ca with the companies’ information.
-plumbing
-drywall
-leveling and replacing paving stones
-security/surveillance systems
-locksmith

5U, 7U & 9U Field

Due to a sprinkler leak the washrooms and concession at this field will be closed on Tuesday May 23 and Wednesday May 24th for repairs. Saanich plans to have the work completed late Wednesday or Thursday.
Updates will be posted on our Facebook page and our website.

Umpires

City wide we have an umpire shortage and games are being canceled. Our upper divisions (13U – SIBL city wide) are still in need of umpires. The Greater Victoria Baseball Association is meeting next week to discuss the situation and ways to help. One option (if there is interest) is to host another Level 1 and Level 2 clinic.

If you would be interested in becoming an umpire or upgrading your umpiring certificate, please email uic@gordonheadbaseball.ca

2nd Photo Day

Monday May 29th at 6pm will be our next photo day. If you did not get your individual photo or your entire team did not get a team photo, please meet by the score board at Joe Stephenson Field.
Please be in FULL CLEAN UNIFORM at the scoreboard at 6pm.
