South Island Baseball League (SIBL)

The South Island Baseball League is a men’s (birth year of 2000 or earlier) division recreational league based out of Victoria, B.C., Canada that was created to house the needs of players who have outgrown the 18U midget division. Over the years the SIBL has expanded in talent and size and is now home to 10 teams of players with a caliber of play ranging from beginners to university and collegiate levels (including Team Canada representatives). Many of our players have come through AAA high school programs and earned themselves scholarships while a handful of others are just stepping up to the plate to learn the sport.

We play a 5-6 game exhibition round robin starting in April, followed by a 20 game season and a postseason in late July / early August that could reach 10 games. With an expanding league, this could mean more teams. Games are played across the city on any day of the week.

Registration will open early 2020
